Tata Motors has launched petrol-powered versions of its flagship Harrier and Safari SUVs in India. Both models are equipped with a new 1.5-litre Hyperion Turbo-GDi petrol engine, producing 170 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, available with manual or automatic transmissions. Introductory prices for the Harrier petrol start at Rs 12.89 lakh, and for the Safari petrol at Rs 13.29 lakh. Both SUVs have also received a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating and include new tech features like a larger infotainment screen and enhanced audio systems.
