Vodafone Idea (Vi) has received significant relief on its Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues, with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) freezing liabilities at Rs 87,695 crore as of December 31, 2025. The company will pay a maximum of Rs 124 crore annually until March 2031, followed by Rs 100 crore annually until March 2035. The remaining dues will be paid in installments between March 2036 and March 2041, after reassessment by a DoT committee. This restructuring eases near-term cash flow pressures and is expected to improve Vi's ability to raise fresh funding.
