Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu is involved in a high-profile divorce case in California, where a court ordered him to deposit a $1.7 billion (approximately Rs 15,000 crore) bond. This amount is reportedly the costliest divorce linked to an Indian businessman and ranks among the world's four most expensive. Vembu, with an estimated net worth of $5.85 billion, married Pramila Srinivasan in 1993. Srinivasan alleges Vembu transferred assets to relatives to reduce her settlement, claiming abandonment and fictitious sales of community property.
