Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the Him MSME Fest 2026, aiming to boost small entrepreneurs, artisans, and startups. The event promotes 'Made in Himachal' products globally, fostering innovation and inclusive growth to realize 'Atmanirbhar' Himachal. A hand-made shawl displayed at the fest has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. The fest also emphasizes women entrepreneurship and the One District One Product initiative, contributing to rural economic empowerment. The state has also secured investment commitments exceeding ₹5,000 crore through MoUs and approved projects worth ₹14,000 crore.
