
TP Solar, a subsidiary of Tata Power, reported significant growth in its manufacturing output for the third quarter of FY26. The company produced 940 MW of solar cells, a nearly five-fold increase from the previous year, and 990 MW of solar modules, a 7% year-on-year rise. For the first nine months of FY26, TP Solar manufactured 2.8 GW of cells and 2.9 GW of modules at its Tamil Nadu facility, which represents a substantial investment in India's solar manufacturing capacity.
