The Special Window for Affordable and Mid-Income Housing (SWAMIH) Investment Fund has fully committed its corpus and delivered approximately 61,000 homes across 110 stalled projects by December 15, 2025. This government-backed initiative has unlocked over Rs 37,400 crore in capital for 127 projects, reviving the housing sector, generating over 36,000 jobs, and contributing significantly to government revenue. The fund aims to eventually deliver over 1 lakh homes, providing relief to more than 4 lakh people.
