The Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited (TANFINET) is seeking district-level franchisee partners to expand high-quality internet services in rural areas under the BharatNet project. Selected partners will maintain Optical Fibre Cables and Optical Network Terminals, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and adhering to Service Level Agreements. Applications are open via the TANFINET online portal until January 14, 2026, with security deposits required for block divisions. This initiative aims to enhance internet access at block and gram panchayat levels across the state, building on the nearly completed 95% of the BharatNet project in Tamil Nadu.
