A recent study surveyed over 2,000 Quebecers aged 50-75 and 279 organizations regarding the management of older workers. Findings indicate that many companies struggle to retain experienced employees, with only 37% implementing measures to encourage those over 50 to stay. Prejudices persist regarding older workers' abilities with technology and innovation, despite their recognized expertise and commitment. Organizations often fail to offer training, engaging projects, or mentorship opportunities, which could help retain this demographic.
