The Transport Association has proposed introducing 12-hour and 24-hour parking options with rationalized rates to address the under-utilization of an idle truck parking facility. They cited high existing rates as a deterrent for transporters. The association also highlighted the poor condition of internal roads, last re-carpeted in 2018 and 2021, and urged immediate repairs. Additionally, they requested renovations for the night shelter, including basic amenities for drivers, and the construction of rain shelters.
