Elecon Engineering reported a 33% drop in Q3 FY26 net profit to Rs 72 crore, attributed to a 17.59% increase in expenses. Despite this, total income rose by 4.78% to Rs 570.59 crore. The company's Material Handling Equipment (MHE) division saw a 16.3% revenue increase, while the gear division reported a 1.3% rise. Management expressed confidence in future revenue recovery due to a strong order book and improving inquiries, though FY26 revenue guidance was adjusted downwards.
