
QatarEnergy and Egypt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and imports. The agreement includes supplying Egypt with up to 24 LNG cargoes for the upcoming summer, destined for Ain Sokhna and Damietta ports. This deal aims to support Egypt's energy needs amidst declining domestic production and its ambition to become a regional supply hub.
