Ola Electric has launched its first residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) named 'Shakti', manufactured at its Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu gigafactory. This product marks Ola Electric's diversification beyond electric vehicles into the non-automotive energy storage market. Powered by the company's indigenous 4680 Bharat Cell, Shakti is designed as a portable, on-demand energy solution for homes, farms, and small businesses. It is available in four configurations with varying storage and power outputs, offering features like automotive-grade safety and protection against voltage fluctuations.
