Ashok Leyland Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja announced the company's ambition to join the top 10 global commercial vehicle manufacturers. This vision is supported by the inauguration of a new ₹1,000 crore greenfield manufacturing facility in Lucknow, primarily focused on electric vehicles with an initial capacity of 5,000 units annually. The plant, designed for clean mobility and advanced digital processes, was inaugurated by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
