Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant contract from the Indian Army's Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) for the overhaul, upgrade, and obsolescence management of the indigenous Pinaka Multi-Rocket Launcher Systems. This public-private partnership aims to enhance the long-term operational availability and modernization of these frontline artillery systems. The initiative involves Army Base Workshops undertaking upgrades with L&T supplying critical spares and technical support, marking a shift towards lifecycle-based maintenance and reinforcing India's defense self-reliance.
