India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has established a Live Events Development Cell (LEDC) to promote structured growth in the live entertainment and concert sector. This initiative aims to streamline processes, boost the economy, and position India as a global destination by 2030. The sector, valued at over Rs 20,000 crore in 2024, is experiencing significant growth and supports millions of jobs. The LEDC will facilitate policy support and coordination among government bodies and industry stakeholders.
