BYD India is increasing the price of its Sealion 7 Premium electric vehicle by Rs 50,000, effective January 1, 2026. The Premium variant will now cost Rs 49.40 lakh, while the Performance variant's price remains unchanged at Rs 54.90 lakh. Bookings made before December 31, 2025, will be honored at the previous price. BYD attributes the adjustment to evolving cost pressures and aims to maintain the model's value in the competitive premium EV market.
