Indian Railways has announced the fare structure and booking rules for the upcoming Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, set to launch next week on the Guwahati-Howrah route. Fares will be higher than existing premium trains like the Rajdhani Express, with a minimum charge equivalent to a 400 km journey. The train will only issue confirmed tickets, eliminating the Reservation Against Cancellation (RAC) and waitlist facilities. Various quotas for ladies, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities will be available.
