The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has finalized a 490.59 crore water management plan for Manesar, aiming to meet rising demand until 2031. The four-phase project will supply fresh and recycled water, reduce wastewater discharge, and include new raw water outlets and modular treatment plants. Funding for the initial phases will come from HSIIDC, with subsequent phases potentially handled by GMDA and MCM. The plan addresses a projected demand of 275 MLD, with freshwater needs at 150 MLD.
