Delhi is set to launch a new Yamuna River cruise service, with the Rs 20 crore project nearing completion. The eco-friendly, electric-solar hybrid boats, built under the "Made in India" initiative, will accommodate 30-40 passengers on an 8-km stretch from Sonia Vihar to Jagatpur. Officials, including Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra, have inspected the vessel under construction in Mumbai. The service, which aims to boost tourism and river connectivity, is expected to launch in February, offering a Goa-like experience with potential water sports and recreational activities.
