The Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) and the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for economic cooperation. This agreement formalizes the sister city partnership between Ahmedabad and Hamamatsu, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Indo-Japan Friendship Association and the first anniversary of the sister state partnership between Shizuoka Prefecture and Gujarat. The pact aims to foster exchanges in economic, tourism, and cultural fields.
