The state leads the nation in fruit production, with 18.57 lakh hectares under cultivation. High productivity in crops like oil palm and papaya, alongside widespread adoption of micro-irrigation and technology, are credited for this growth. The government aims for further expansion, targeting ₹1.77 lakh crore for 2025-26.
