Uttar Pradesh has secured approval for four projects under the third phase of the Central Government's Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), part of 22 projects cleared nationwide. These initiatives are expected to attract significant investment and create jobs, bolstering the state's position as an electronics manufacturing hub. Building on existing policies and improved infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh aims to strengthen its electronics supply chain, reduce import dependence, and expand high-value manufacturing, particularly in mobile and IT hardware sectors.
