
A national conference on textiles, themed 'India's Textiles: Weaving Growth, Heritage and Innovation,' brought together Union ministers and state officials to discuss the sector's future roadmap. Union Minister Giriraj Singh urged states to adopt investor-friendly policies to attract investment and strengthen the textile economy, aiming for a USD 350 billion target. Additionally, the textiles ministry signed MoUs with 15 states to enhance data systems under the Tex-RAMPS scheme, supporting integrated planning and providing financial assistance for improved statistical insights.
