Indian Railways is preparing to launch the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, connecting Guwahati and Kolkata. The new 16-coach train will accommodate 823 passengers, featuring 11 AC 3-Tier, 4 AC 2-Tier, and 1 First Class AC coach. It boasts advanced features for passenger comfort, including cushioned berths, noise reduction, and modern amenities. Safety is enhanced with the Kavach system and emergency talk-back units. This service aims to significantly improve connectivity between Assam and West Bengal.
