IndiGo has received its first Airbus A321 XLR aircraft, marking a significant step in its international expansion strategy. This long-range narrow-body jet, capable of flying up to 8,700 km, will initially be deployed on new routes to Athens from Delhi and Mumbai. Future deployments include existing routes to Istanbul and Bali, with plans to expand into Europe and East Asia. The A321 XLR offers enhanced fuel efficiency and cost-effectiveness, allowing IndiGo to serve longer international destinations.
