Websol Renewable Private Limited will invest Rs 3,538 crore to establish an 8 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh's Naidupeta SEZ. The project, spanning 120 acres and developed in two phases, will include 4 GW each of solar cell and module capacity, with commercial production starting July 2027-2028. The state government has also allocated 300 acres for a captive solar power plant to ensure self-generated renewable energy. This development positions Naidupeta as a significant solar manufacturing hub, attracting other major companies to the region.
