Recruitment in India saw a 15% increase in 2025, primarily driven by a surge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) related job postings, according to the Foundit Insights Tracker. AI roles accounted for over 2.9 lakh positions last year, with projections indicating a 32% growth to nearly 3.8 lakh roles in 2026. The IT sector led AI job creation, followed by BFSI and manufacturing. Demand for generative AI and LLM skills also saw significant growth.
