Akzo Nobel India has appointed Parth Jindal as its new Chairman, effective immediately, subject to shareholder approval. Jindal, who is also the Managing Director of JSW Paints and JSW Cements, assumes the role following JSW Paints' acquisition of a majority stake in AkzoNobel India last year. The board also approved the re-designation of Rajiv Rajgopal to Joint Managing Director Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Shantanu Maharaj Khosla as an independent additional director.
