Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) experienced an 8% rise in passenger traffic in 2025, handling 43.82 million passengers, up from 40.73 million in 2024. Cargo volume also increased by 5% to 520,985 metric tonnes. The airport saw a significant jump in international departures and advanced to second place for domestic flights among Indian airports. BIAL plans to further strengthen global connectivity and expand capacity in 2026.
