
India's electronics exports surpassed Rs 4 lakh crore in 2025, with iPhone exports nearly doubling to Rs 2.03 lakh crore, according to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This growth is attributed to the strong performance of the mobile phone sector, which employs over 25 lakh people. Further expansion is anticipated with the upcoming production from four semiconductor plants. Industry estimates project significant growth in mobile phone production and exports by the end of the current fiscal year.
