
The Union Textile Ministry has signed MoUs with 15 states to strengthen textile industry data systems under the Tex-RAMPS scheme. This initiative aims to improve the coverage, quality, and credibility of textile-related statistical products and research by creating a robust operational framework for integrated planning at cluster and district levels. The ministry is providing financial assistance to states and Union Territories to support these reforms and bridge data gaps, aligning with the goal of a USD 350-billion industry.
