
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is set to visit Brussels on January 8-9 for crucial talks on the proposed India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which is in its final stages. He will meet EU counterpart Maros Sefcovic, aiming to bridge differences and conclude the comprehensive pact. The visit follows technical discussions and a previous meeting between Goyal and Sefcovic in December. Goyal will also visit Liechtenstein on January 7 to discuss trade and investments, as India has an FTA with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) members.
