
Premier Energies plans an Rs 11,000-crore expansion to significantly increase its solar cell and module manufacturing capacity. The company aims to boost annual cell production from 3.2 GW to 10.6 GW and module capacity from 5.1 GW to 11.1 GW. This expansion, driven by domestic demand and supported by the ALMM framework, includes new facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Funding will come from IPO proceeds, IREDA debt, and internal accruals, with plans to also manufacture ingots and wafers.
