Haryana's power distribution companies (discoms) project a net revenue surplus of Rs 4,484 crore for the 2026-27 financial year. They have filed their annual revenue requirement (ARR) with the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), seeking Rs 51,156 crore. The HERC will hold public hearings on these petitions, along with those from the transmission and generation corporations, to determine electricity tariffs for the upcoming fiscal year. Consumer objections are invited by January 4.
