
Institutional investments in Indian real estate reached a record $8.47 billion in 2025, a 29% year-on-year increase, according to Colliers India. Domestic capital more than doubled to $4.82 billion, driving 57% of inflows, while foreign investment declined 16% to $3.65 billion. The office sector dominated, attracting 54% of investments, with Bengaluru and Mumbai leading in inflows. Despite global uncertainties, cross-border investments showed recovery in the final quarter.
