
Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) plans to establish 90 new stations and connect 100 new feeders by March to enhance power distribution. CESC Managing Director K.M. Munigopal Raju urged officials to adopt technical practices to reduce energy leakage, power interruptions, and financial losses. An energy audit in Sakleshpur successfully reduced leakage from 40-43% to 12% through interventions, boosting revenue and improving maintenance. The Energy Department also aims to generate 5,000 megawatts within a year.
