
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a 13.9% year-on-year drop in Q3 FY26 net profit to Rs 10,657 crore, impacted by a Rs 2,128 crore one-time charge from new labor codes and restructuring expenses. Despite this, revenue grew 5% YoY. TCS's headcount decreased by 11,151 employees. Meanwhile, HCL Tech posted an 11.2% decline in Q3 FY26 net profit to Rs 4,076 crore, though revenue increased 13.3% YoY. Brokerages remain cautious on HCL Tech's near-term stock outlook despite operational improvements.
