Suraj Biswas, founder and CEO of deep-tech startup Assessli, has publicly supported Zomato and its CEO Deepinder Goyal, drawing on his experience as a delivery partner in Bengaluru from 2020-21. Biswas stated he earned approximately Rs 40,000 monthly, with some colleagues earning up to Rs 90,000, using the income to fund his education and startup. He described the gig work as offering independence and opportunity, not exploitation, and highlighted Zomato's support during challenging situations, which inspired his tech ventures.
