Daily helicopter services are set to launch from Shimla to Kullu and Kinnaur starting January 14, operated by Heritage Aviation. This initiative, part of the Union government's UDAN regional connectivity scheme, will feature two daily flights on the Shimla-Kullu route for Rs 3,500 per person and one daily flight to Reckong Peo for Rs 4,000. A six-seater Airbus H125 helicopter will be utilized, with trial runs successfully completed and full support from the Himachal Pradesh government assured.
