Construction of an integrated vegetable and grocery market at Solar in Erode is progressing well, with over 60% of the ₹18.48 crore project completed. Officials anticipate finishing the remaining work within six months, aiming for a June 2026 completion. This new facility, announced by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, will feature 794 shops, godowns, and extensive parking, aiming to accommodate traders previously relocated from the Nethaji Vegetable and Fruit Market Complex.
