India's electronics exports surpassed Rs 4 lakh crore in 2025, with iPhone exports alone reaching Rs 2.03 lakh crore, nearly doubling from the previous year. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted this growth, attributing it to the expanding mobile phone manufacturing sector and anticipating further increases with the upcoming production from four semiconductor plants. Apple's manufacturing in India, supported by entities like Tata Group and Foxconn, has significantly boosted the country's position as a major electronics exporter.
