India's first Vande Bharat sleeper train, connecting Howrah and Guwahati, is set to launch on January 17. The train will feature 16 AC coaches, including 3AC, 2AC, and 1AC classes, with a capacity of 823 passengers. Fares are set on a per-kilometer basis, with a minimum chargeable distance of 400 km, and are generally higher than existing premium trains.
