Air India has updated its "Paws on Board" program, allowing cats and dogs up to 10 kg to travel in the economy cabin on select domestic and international flights. The booking notice period has been reduced from 72 to 48 hours prior to departure. Pets must remain in soft-sided carriers under the seat in the last row of economy aisle seats. The policy covers over 80 routes across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
