The Ministry of Rural Development and the Department of Posts have signed an MoU to boost rural economic transformation. This collaboration aims to expand financial services, logistics, and market access for rural Self-Help Group (SHG) households. India Post will promote savings, deposits, insurance, and pension products, while also supporting SHG women as Business Correspondents. The partnership will also leverage India Post's logistics network to create market opportunities for SHG enterprises.
