
India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper train, operating between Howrah and Guwahati, is set to begin commercial services. The 16-coach train, developed with ICF technology, can carry 823 passengers across various AC classes and aims to boost tourism in the Northeast. Passengers can carry luggage according to existing Indian Railways baggage rules, as no changes have been announced specifically for this new service.
