Shishir Bajaj, patriarch of the Bajaj Group, honored his grandmother Jankidevi Bajaj on her 133rd birth anniversary. He remembered her as a leader embodying simplicity, courage, and dedication to Gandhian values, including swadeshi and khadi. Jankidevi Bajaj was a social reformer, actively involved in India's freedom movement, women's empowerment, and rural upliftment. She also participated in the Bhoodan Movement and was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 1956 for her societal contributions.
