Reliance Industries has transferred shares in its new consumer goods company, Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), to 13 investor groups. These investors previously held stakes in Reliance's retail business and will collectively own 16.45% of RCPL, with Reliance Industries retaining 83.55%. This move, following RCPL's demerger from Reliance Retail Ventures, separates consumer goods operations and may facilitate future partnerships or a separate listing. RCPL now holds all of Reliance's FMCG brands.
