Tata Motors is set to launch a facelifted version of its Punch micro-SUV on January 13, 2026, featuring a significant performance upgrade. The new model will offer an optional turbo-petrol engine, likely borrowed from the Altroz Racer or Nexon, producing around 120bhp and 170Nm of torque. This marks a substantial increase from the current 88bhp naturally aspirated engine. The facelift is also expected to include design and feature enhancements, addressing long-standing criticisms about the Punch's power.
