JMM leader Kunal Sarangi met Tata Steel CEO T V Narendran regarding uncertainty over IndiaOne Air flight services from Jamshedpur. Sarangi sought continued support from Tata Steel for landing and parking charges, contingent on the Centre extending the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). IndiaOne Air faces service discontinuation due to RCS expiry. Narendran assured efforts to expand the Sonari Aerodrome runway and prepare a technical proposal, while Sarangi plans to approach the Jharkhand Chief Minister for intervention with the Union Civil Aviation Ministry.
