Police in Phagwara have arrested Narinder Kumar alias Laddi for the alleged theft of six bundles of steel reinforcement rods from a residential construction site in Hardaspur village. The complainant, Binder Kumar, reported the material missing on January 5, 2026, after storing it outside his house. CCTV footage reportedly showed a vehicle and a youth loading the rods. An investigation is underway to recover the stolen material and ascertain if the accused was involved in other thefts.
